L.E.A.P Awards (January 25, 2019)
Sequoia Pathway Academy Secondary held their second Leadership, Appreciation, Excellence, and Pride awards. Winners were selected by their teachers based the characteristics of L.E.A.P. and recognized during the Semester 1 PEP assembly.
Sequoia Pathway Football Coach Goes International
For the 2018-2019 school year Boys football coach Chris Braybrooks has been giving his time and energy as a coach with a program called USA Football. Coach Braybrooks serves as the head coach of the USA Stars. A team that is made up of athletes ages 18-35 and players from the college as well as semi-professional ranks. Coach Braybrooks has been able to lead his team in international competition. Over the summer the USA Stars competed against a team from Mexico City.
Throughout the year, Coach Braybrooks has obligations to this team from scouting and recruiting talent, to practices,
and games. In addition, Coach Braybrooks serves as an ambassador for the game of football as well as our nation. It is fantastic to know that Coach Braybrooks also serves as a representative of sportsmanship and dignity in his role.
With his next goal being competing in Greece this upcoming summer. We are all proud and want to celebrate this great accomplishment. Congratulations Coach Braybrooks.
