Campus Director’s Message

February 5th, 2018

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Let me start off by congratulating our junior high Lady Pumas softball for coming in 2nd in state after a long day of playoff games this Saturday! The girls’ stepped up and fought hard, and did an awesome job of representing our school. This was a wild weekend for our Pumas, with our undefeated Lady Pumas defeating Imagine Coolidge on Friday, followed by senior night for varsity boys’ basketball team, where they played an excellent game against Skyline. Please join us Tuesday night at 5pm for a home game and varsity girls’ basketball senior night.

Our National Junior Honor Society spent some time last weekend on their service project, assisting members of the Province retirement community with various household tasks and chores. National Honor Society will be providing after school peer-tutoring as their 2017-2018 service project. If your student needs some additional help, consider having them attend an after school tutoring session.

We have now entered the next phase of our accreditation process with AdvancEd, and part of this is the completion of a parent survey. Please take a moment to complete this survey, either at parent/teacher conferences or via the email link we will send out later this week. Parent/teacher conferences are just around the corner, taking place on February 15th and 16th. It will be an open-house format, with teachers in their classrooms available to talk with you regarding your student’s progress. Teachers will be available on Thursday from 3pm-5pm, and on Friday from 1pm-4pm. If you have specific concerns, please consider reaching out to your student’s teacher to schedule a dedicated appointment, to ensure ample time for discussion.

Also just around the corner is our Book Fair, which will take place the week of February 12th-16th in the library. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with the Book Fair, please reach out to our PTO; extra help is always appreciated.

We are also excited to announce that on Saturday, February 10th we will be hosting the Farmer’s Market from 8am-11am. For $10, your family receives 60lbs of produce! There will also be additional vendors, including local favorite Waffle Love. PTO is also looking for volunteers to assist with the Farmer’s Market.

A friendly reminder that you can find the dates, times and locations of all of our students’ games at>Calendar>Featured Events or directly through this link:
